Happy Thanks Giving and all that jazz

Yo Yo,

Didn’t get up to  much this week, Chilled out on Monday night watching t.v and the likes , Well I was more playing games on the PC than watching t.v, I’m sick of the t.v to be honest never anything on and I have like 500 channels .

On Tuesday I watched a DVD with Louise , I can’t remember the name of it but it had John Travolta and the head guy from the sopranos in it, It was about this couple who went around killing rich woman, it was ok nothing special .

 Last night was the same as Monday , I was meant to go training but I was too lazy , Tonight I’m having a few Beers with the lads and having a game of Poker .

1st Christmas Party of the year This Saturday , and I have the feeling its going to be a bit of a crazy one, This will be the last party that everyone from my old dept will be at together so it should be good fun, After this party most of the old dept will be moving on and to bigger and better things (I hope) . So I plan on getting really drunk (as usual) and make a fool out of myself he he

As for the rest of the weekend I’m just going to go with the flow 🙂

Here we go again – the Big monday :-(

I didn’t get up to a whole lot the weekend , Just the usual few drinks here and there ,Nothing out of the ordinary to report, Im such a geek that I watched the whole Matrix trilogy over the weekend , (goes to show how much I did the weekend). Got the box set for like €25 , had loads of extra DVD’s with it like the makings of each film and the likes. I love watching how they are move then watching the film itself, sometimes you forgot how much work goes into these movies .

Its Monday again but for once im not hung over coming to work , its strange been fresh on a Monday , I haven’t decided if I like it or not ha-ha , I remember writing on here a few months ago about time going by real fast , (too lazy to link) but I think time is just getting faster and faster .. like is it just me or is it crazy that Christmas is like 4/5 weeks away ,  Where did that year go , where did the last 4 years go? In just over a month it will be 2008 !!!

That means the “90’s” where 8 years ago — 8 YEARS , what have I done in them 8 years? Well they say time flies when your having fun so I must be doing something right 🙂

Guess whos back ….. Back again!!

Well hello there ,

 Been a very long time , One reason has been me been a lazy fecker the other was writing on here was beginning to feel like a chore , and I have enough of them in my life as it is 🙂

Right where do I start? Well Thailand was even better than last time , I’m not going to bore you with all the details ,It had everything from  white water rafting & bungee jumping to chilling on beaches & late night swims  , 

One of the best nights was near the end when we got to sleep over on the beach where the Movie “The Beach” was made, We were the 1st people to stay on the beach in like 5 years, about 15-20 of us stayed over , it was unreal we had a BBQ and a few beers and just chilled out under the stars (sounds kinda gay ha-ha )  .

Now what else has happened …….. oh yeah update on the fireman thingy,  I have got by one of the 3 obstacles  , I passed my Driving test yeehaaa 🙂  the other 2 been my lungs ( I’m kind of off the smokes) and my vision , I went to the laser eye doc yesterday again and I have to go back to him in a few months again to see if my subscription is the same as now , if it is then I can go ahead with the treatment .

Apart from that I’m a bit pissed off with how things worked out in work , If I had of stayed in my department I would be getting a nice redundancy package and more than likely a trip to the Philippines for 3 months , instead I get nothing!!! ah well they say everything happens for a reason .

Thats enough of me anyway , im off to read someone eles blog 🙂

2nd last day ….. :-)

Did them 2 weeks fly by or what!!!!! I can’t believe its nearly time for me to head over, I really can’t wait now,  although I’m not going to get too excited until I land as I have such a long trip to get over there, I have a flight to Frankfurt from Dublin, then I fly from there to Bahrain , then I fly to Bangkok , and finally I get a flight to Phuket to meet up with the rest of the crew, it will be around 6 in the evening when I finally meet up with them , so I hope I have enough energy left to go out and party =)

 Anyway not much to say about the last few weeks, I have been just chilling with the boys , heading out clubbing every now and again, All the lads want to head across to Sligo for the weekend but I really need to take it easy and get stuff sorted for going away .

I’m not going to go into the whole job thing as I’m sure you all know what the story is from reading all the other blogs, either way the job losses don’t effect me as my dept is staying with the current company , which to be honest is a pity as it would of suited me  to get the redundancy as I already have the fire fighter job coming up .

I’ll try my best to update this every now and again while I’m over there but I’m a lazy bastard so I doubt that will happen =) , I will be updating bebo so check that link every now and again for pics and the likes,

I’m leaving on a jet plane don’t know when i’ll be back again …………

This time 3 weeks………

This time 3 weeks I will be in Thailand, its great how fast time is going , I am really going to enjoy every second I have over there, I know I’m going to be so pissed off when I get back.

I was talking to louise yesterday and they sound like they are all having a great time , I can’t wait to join in on the fun.Although I can’t complain too much as I’ve been on the piss loads with the lads over the last 3 weeks, and I’ve had some good nights, but I can’t help but feel left out from all the adventures in Thailand.

Anyway I got a bit of an update on the fireman thingy …. it will be at least a year before I start which I don’t mind as I can get a few things done before I start, I still have to get my full driving licence, get the laser treatment done on my eyes, and it gives me more time to get fitter, and hay it also gives me more time to be a lazy bastard hehe

Yo Yo

Just a quick one, didn’t get up to much all week, just the usual , I had a few drinks with the lads and went the gym a few times , starting to get fit again , going out tonight as a few of the people from my old Dept are leaving , should be a good laugh, I think I shall get very drunk as my head is wrecked!!!

 The reason I haven’t really been doing much bloging lately is im so depressed that so many of my friends are already in Thailand , they seem to be having such a great time, I feel like im missing out on so much!!! so I can just about motivate myself to do my work never mind  bloging .But its not too bad as I only have 3 weeks left in work and if they are anything like the rest of the year they will feel like 3 days .

should be a good weekend as well as im heading out with work tonight, then im having a big poker game on Saturday, and the mighty Dubs are playing in the final on Sunday so that should be good,

Lazy Lazy me.

I have been way too lazy to write on here lately, Not much happened anyway.Louise is having a great time in Thailand, they are just back from a 4 day trek in the jungle, Every time they ring me they sound like they are having such a good time, I CAN’T WAIT to go over,

I had a consultation yesterday to see if I could get the laser treatment done on my eyes, He said because my prescription has gone from .75 to 1.25 (in 2 years) that I have to go back in a few months to see if im still around 1.25 , if so I can get them done no problem, the funny thing is if I was 3.75 and now 4.25 then he could do them!! so in other words im too blind to be a fireman and not blind enough to get the laser treatment!! Now that’s ironic .

Anyway I’ve been trying not to go out and spend my money before Thailand but it seems the more I try not to go out the more I actually go out!!! I have a summer party to go to for work tomorrow but apart from that im not going out till Thailand…………..I hope.

The start of a epic journey.

OK so the title is a bit dramatic  🙂 but last night we had a going away party up in Louise house, It was a great night as all our friends came and it was funny to see the different groups interacting ,I only got about 3 r 4 hours sleep all the same so I’m paying for it today, It really hit home last night that i won’t be going over with them for the whole holiday, i would do anything to go for the 11 weeks, Its going to be so strange not seeing Louise for 6 weeks, especially as we have seen so much of each other lately, Ah sure I’m sure the time will fly by like it always dose.

Anyway I’ve stated to train out my friends gym , he knows so much about weights and all the different exercises for the different muscles, my arms are killing me after the 3 hour work out we had on Wednesday, So watch this space as im going to be like one of them lads from that Film 300 in a few months , haha for anyone who knows me im sure your on the floor at this stage 😉

Dubs For the Sam

I was in no state to post yesterday, had a good weekend, Can’t remember what i did Friday to be honest, I don’t think i did much, oh yeah i remeber now i spent half the night fixing lou’s PC and then we just cilled in my house. 

On Saturday me n Lou had a few drinks in her house ,  a few of our friends came around as well so we had a laugh , Didn’t stay up too late as Louise was in work early and i had to be ready for The Dubs match,

So Sunday was a great day, myself and the lads went to the local pub to watch the match , (The Dublin V Meath Replay) it was a great match , it had everything in it, i thought at one stage i was going to have a Harte attack, anyway in the end Dublin won by 4 points, After the match we finished up our pints and headed straight into Fraser’s in town , there was a deadly band on , i think they were called Gary Og, all sorts of Irish ballets and the likes, so we finished the night around 11.30 (early i know) had a Burger and headed home, I fell asleep that night with thoughts of Dublin lifting the SAM… not a bad thought to sleep on . UP THE DUBS .
